Braking a family apart

It was summer. Daren was surfing in his fake Facebook account, looking for preys. He added women randomly. lots of women. They just needed to look sharp and Daren would automatically add them.

He came across a woman called Laura*.  in her profile picture she was wearing a striped dress with many different colors. She was smiling, looking relaxed and Daren decided that he had to have her.

He sent her an invitation. During several weeks Laura didn´t reply to the invitation. Daren said "hi" several times, started a conversation, but Laura didn´t reply.

One day she did reply, and asked Daren if they knew each other, why was hi asking to add her, and Daren replayed that he liked her smile and that she was very attractive. Now you are wondering why on earth would she continue talking to Daren after such a lame justification. First of all, we need to understand who Daren "was" in this virtual reality. 

During all those years when he pretended to be someone else, Daren always used pictures from attractive man, athletic men, male models or sportsmen. In this particular case, Daren used a Brazilian surfer. 

Now we need to understand the moment Laura was living. Remember that a sociopath looks for fragile victims, people who are emotionally down, who are facing problems at home and most of all, are dreamers. 

Laura was a 42 years old woman. She had 3 kids and was married. Laura worked as Personal Trainer. She had indeed a beautiful smile and was fit. Laura had a long brown hair, brown eyes and was 1,65m. Her marriage have had better days. He husband didn´t show her love and affection but he was a great dad. In Laura´s words, her biggest problem in her marriage was the sex. Laura didn´t take pleasure in the sexual relations whit her husband. Again in her words, he wouldn´t innovate. sex was always the same boring thing. In fact, Laura already had cheated on her husband before meeting Daren, but Daren only learned that later.

When they started to talk, Laura was on vacations with her husband. In fact those vacations were one more try to make the marriage work. But has you can understand, it was not working. 

After they cam from vacations, Daren and Laura started to talk more often, first texting then calling. At that time, Laura was spending a lot o time at the beach, it was summer time, the kids didn´t have school. In no time, they started to have sexual conversations, and finished doing sex phone.

Laura was still married and they were "dating".

Daren "was living" in Barcelona and "was a psychologist". Laura wanted to be with Daren, that is, with the character he was showing, Bernardo, the psychologist surfer. Laura and Daren were living a very hot summer, having sex phone every day, making promises of love. But at home, things were going from bad to worse.

So now Daren was truing to calm things down. he told Laura that she needed to thing very carefully about that because of the kids and so on, but Laura was decided to leave and to be with him.

So now Daren had to make a decision, he would either tell her the truth or stage his death! The second seemed more appropriate... It was not the first time he would do that and it would give him more time to continue having sex phone with Laura and take out much pleasure as possible.

Daren started to say to Laura that he was not feeling very well, something was wrong with him and that was preventing him from flying to Portugal. the "diagnoses" came, Daren "had" a brain tumor. Laura was in panic, the man she love was sick to death and fare away. On top of that, things at home were really bad. Her husband even texted Daren, bagging him to step away, saying that he was destroying a family, he was making kids suffer. Daren didn´t care about it...and continued to talk with Laura, although preparing his "death".

Laura´s husband left home. he was now living at a friends house and Laura was feeling pity for him. So now was the time to "die". 

Daren disappeared. he didn´t close the account, but didn´t went back there. They used to talk on Facebook, using the call tool, so number was not the problem. And in this way, Daren filed the case. One more. Laura´s life was falling apart, but Daren just ignored it....
