It´s worthy to get to know Daren´s parents better to understand Daren himself. Daren´s father was a good man. He was from a small village in the interior of Portugal. he was the firstborn of tow brothers. When he was six years old he started to work, as it was the use among the people in Portugal at that time. He started to work whit Daren´s grandfather, shepherding sheep and goats. Its was a hard job for a man to do, imagine for a six year old boy. He often had no shoes and many times would sleep above a creek white a stone as pillow. This last until he was twelve years old. At that he went to work in a restaurant in the town nearby. But the work wasn´t easier at all. long hours of work, often form 6 am to 12 pm. many time with no resting day.
